Green with Envy

Green, with envy, oh those eyes
When they’re fixed upon me.
I am but prey, as the moonrise
Brings hunt of ecstasy.

I dance the storm, she the tempest
I’m ever caught up in.
She moves in close, her will expressed
In revealing of skin.

The warmth rising to fever pitch,
The circle drawing tight.
I yield my soul unto the witch,
On this Midsummer’s night.

She will have me, I will have her,
We face each other sound;
While all the world fades to a blur
And, as one, we are bound

As auras blend, as the souls mesh
Within a shared heartbeat.
As we absorb scents of bared flesh,
Coalesced in body heat.

Her eyes on mine, with one hot breath
Along midnight’s first chime;
Inseparable through life, through death,
Throughout all space and time…

The ritual done, together, one—
No severing the tie.
We relinquish the deed to none,
And look up to the sky.

The morning, may it never come,
Finding us well appeased.
We are but two who felt that thrum,
Saw the moment, and seized.

Apparently, when you were suffering in the very darkest depths of hell, you still had the presence of mind to steal some of that heat! WOW! ~L

Lori, *that has always been in me, it just took someone very special to bring it out.
