Okay, all read what you write That gives you great delight You glorify every poetic site By proving your musing might You attract lots of views Great fame, you produce You come in the news Now, what is the use? One day, you will die You go to the Sky God questions your lie Which you can't deny Did you save a losing soul? Did you play a rescuing role? Did you have a helping goal? Did you use love to control? I simply say that I wrote But, that won't fetch His vote To many sites, I did devote That is to Heaven no route Did a poor man get your attention? Did you hug all with a kind intention? Did thanks to someone you mention? Did you reduce someone's tension? I blink and before God just stood He asks whether I supplied bread In shame, I nod sadly my head As nothing useful could be said Did you feed a crow or a squirrel? Did you save a cat from a peril? Did feeding a dog give you thrill? What is the use of a poetic skill? You visited Temples to pray Did a kind word you try to say When poverty tried to prey Upon Many men in a cruel way? A place in Hell was to me allotted To such a suffering, I also opted In rebirth list, my name, I spotted I am sure, I only selfishly batted. mvvenkataraman |

I think there is time for writing and praying, reading and saving, believing and receiving...in other words a time for everything under the sun...even a time (now) to open your mouth and receive Jesus in your heart, who has already paid the price for the worlds sins...He did do something splendid...that's where the receiving comes in...james |
