Clouded Thoughts of You Blue's still blue bed sheets too but every morning the sky is a different hue and I could try, I could lie but lately my thoughts of you are cloudy too with a chance of rain in the afternoon oh please explain tell me what to do Black eye blue the night is through and every morning your smile just isn't true and I just sigh, dunno why but lately my thoughts of you are foggy too I can't see a thing I can't get through oh say something tell me what to do Sunshine eclipsed she puts her hands on her hips and leaves me dangling from her lips a hint of a smile would kill me a dose of radiation in the air of her mystery but the nightgowns aren't setting me aflame like they used to do and the curve of the earth when she'd call me name I can't feel it like I used to do and white's still white the moon's still light but every night your embrace just doesn't feel right and I could try, I could lie but lately I've been thinking these clouded thoughts of you I've been sinking and I don't know what to do Blue's still blue bed sheets too but every morning the sky is a different hue and I could try, I could lie but lately my thoughts of you are cloudy too with a chance of rain in the afternoon oh please explain please, please do Black eye blue the night is through and every morning your smile just isn't true and I just sigh, dunno why but lately my thoughts of you are foggy too I can't see a thing I can't get through oh say something speak the truth Oh say something help me clear these clouded thoughts of you so I can see a brighter blue with you "He turns his money into light to look for her" - U2, 'Lemon' |
