hah! I’m not paunchy as some of my aged (like me) friends I can still stand up straight look down . . . and see it and yes it still works I sit around in jeans in front of the computer ahhh . . . the computer is like my wife I fondle it, curse it tell it my deepest, dark secrets come April I will be a year older eh . . . but I don’t sit in front of the wife in those round, rimless spectacles hell no I am the coolest damned old guy around my wife and I write poems, novels, et al all day as we drink our cuppa joe mellowing out into that cheap California burgundy in the night my wife and I don’t write as we drink our wine Hemmingway said, write drunk, edit sober naw . . . doesn’t work for me just a little rundown on moi tootin’ my own horn the coolest old guy around . . . heh.heh ©January 17, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton |
