ahhh . . . winter can be such
an unpleasant month
frigid mornings
even down here in south Louisiana
attacking my great coat
with hoodie
uh huh, I'm a hoodie . . . NOT
the deep down cold
seeping out what little warmth
inside my coat
no need to tarry on the early morning
Zoe walk
but Zoe, see, has a coat of her own
she does like to sniff . . .
and tarry
the wind takes my breath away
screaming inside the hood
making me almost lose my balance
I stand and watch her sniff
impatiently
I mean why doesn't she feel the cold
finally she pees
and moves on to another interesting spot
yet again
sniffing and sniffing and . . .
pees again
my next pet is gonna be a goldfish

Thank you, Jerry, for the smiles! Nothing against goldfish of course but Zoe is Zoe is Zoe ... such a tough girl who keeps you healthy coping with every kind of weather.

Love this.

Yes, she is all that, Margherita . . . Right now she is trying to promote some ball throwing. She will win of course.
