I know it is too cold to walk these days, still I send this to you for when you can walk.

walking
good for the soul
great for the physical you
and if you use your vivid imagination
taking a step
erases the circle you stand in
into activity
in so doing you began to see
brown spots in the grass
a depression in the ground
ahead giving you time to adjust your pace
you observe paint pealing
from a shed
now you are in a flowing motion
where bushes aren't just bushes
they have been transformed
overnight into shapes
heretofore unseen by you
trees take on a different look
power lines; our touch to the outside world
seem alone and aloof
everything is defined quite clearly
and happily so
in time so will you
just remember that old song

Awe that's really nice JP. As I get older I've learned to appreciate the little things because they are the big things in life.

I do enjoy it when a man, in this case you a Poet, shows his sensitivity. This is very lovely, dear Jerry.

btw both of these women named Lori, are fantastic!

Thank you so much, Margherita. Yes, we guys do have some serious sensitivity about us, there is just something in our makeup that we hesitate showing it.
