The glowering moon quivered its quicksilver nervousness
Over dancing blossoms that perfumed the midnight air,
And from secret thickets crept dark whispers
Of drunken whispered blackberry wine,
While across the arches of loneliness
Strolled images of lost and haunting eyes,
Seeking only the connection that sought them
Through the hours of narcotic sleep.

Starlight caressed the waters of the stream beneath the arches
With the finesse of a Monet masterpiece, yet as natural
As a baby’s first dream, and willows stirred
The stillness of silver, gold and liquid shade
Into an abstract serenade of forever,
While all around woodland breathed quietly
In the pondering reminiscences of a night
Like a whirlpool creation of unwinding beauty.

Each wide eyed moment held hands, afraid to be alone
Before the hours took them quietly away,
Each one aspiring to come back again
When evening blossoms into a new day,
Yet beneath the arches of loneliness
Drifted every prayer that whispered to itself,
With such a sense of gentleness suspended
On the hanging gardens of the evening’s soul…

You created the images, and I took them to my streamed valley in the moonlight.

Imbued with rich images of the beauties of Nature, wild and wonderful, as I like them best.  I am still feasting on them.
