Fair to middlin' of nowhere

You are the constant to which I remain
You love the me that nobody else knows
You are the calm eye of my hurricane
You are the trellis for my climbing rose

When you are with me my mind is at ease
When we are together this I treasure
When you are with me I can slowly breathe
When I am with you I feel so secure

You gave me yourself when I was lonely
You give your light when I am in the dark
You gave your heart to this one and only
You give love to its highest watermark

I know not how to love you any more
I know each day my love grows even more

Special poem for your special guy. I loved your rhyming scheme. This, to me, is one of your better poems. Ranks near the top.

I read this the day you posted it Lori.  I didn't have time to reply but you actually got a smile out of me.  A beautiful sonnet this is.

Thanks everybody!
life really hectic here and comments hard to keep up with. Would love to have more leisure time to indulge in sonnets...now that I have tried them I like them...a little bird said I would.
