                Glories of Spring

Tree-shadows glisten in the bright, clear
  moonlight
and dance with the soft and voiceless
evening wind by this lake of dreams …
the vast, deep mirror of clouds, stars
  and endless hills
as the universe touches down
in a thousand miles of Spring.
Neither power and profit, nor fame
matter here … in the glorious, forgiving
  silence
where only Love might sing a finer song.

Yes, love might sing a finer song but it would have to be a fine song indeed to top this beautiful moment of solitude and appreciation.

Great texture involved herein, and the poet utilized dramatic structure in order to being out the glorious scene he has described.
