April snow

White snow on green leaves
Trees bend, as all must obey;
Mercy prayers in breeze.

Test to try Abrahams faith?
God prebreaking Isaacs limbs?

***************************

After

Cheeks flushed pink-light rouge,
Wet hair, to her forehead stuck
Eyes rolled back, but shut.

Fingers still griping the sheets,
Breaths slow down-even in beat.

***************************

Special

I should feel special;
"Your preferred shoppers card, please"
The clerk does a scan...

It does not boost my ego;
I walk from the store mumbling.

Nicely written, one and all, Ice. I like the last one the best. Somehow we have taken the feeling of being special out of the world these days. We are,one and all, robots to the machinery of life.

Beautiful is this powerful motion of your heart. Tough testing indeed! Ah, the snow, we love it so much when it comes in its right time, but on buds and green leaves it makes us so sad. Let's put it this way, snow behaved like a bad boy, who now will repent and send healing sunshine.

Just the right kind of relaxation that brings serenity .

It does not boost my ego

Our every move is monitored, every action traceable ... freedom restricted, no doubt.

Excellent, inspired work, dear Ford. I have never written anything in this form ... I lack patience!

Thank you Jerry.

I am glad someone else is bothered by the advertisers of their products in a subliminal fashion.

Just give me a fair price on things, and quit the jive about how special I am to you... 'cause I pay for my specialness in hidden ways...50 cents off of bread is added to the price of hamburger..

And I aint special at all...just fooled.

I guess no one is that special when it comes down to reality.

Well done!!

Well done, my friend... I especially liked, "After", but enjoyed them all.

My dear poet friends
Replies all need individual attention, but right now my buisness is taking it all.
A  cold spring means added worry--
When new weeds freeze, domestic plants are in trouble..need extra attention. Thats where mine is now focused.

Thank you all
