echoes of brandied peaches
reading each snapshot greedily
pregnant with the unexpected
poetically interlined with tune
without which we would have no idea
nor hear sounds of the lute
which sings an
emotional communication
silent whispers of
nothing, yet
I hear its sweetness

brandied peaches
dwells in the deep heart of faith
thankful for that great vision of
breathe alive
in a handful of rocks
strumming all those yesterdays
deep cornucopia of exercise
running through my fingers
and I can't keep it from dying
and sad to see it go…as I wave…

good-bye

good-bye

memoir of life
watching with innocent eyes
a privet moment with blue nights
orchestrating rotations in some
akashic record

brandied peaches…
narrating a tale
turning, turning, turning
and
desire glows like hot coals
pointing a camera into the shadows
soothing an ill fated longing
like a lover is close
full of virtues at the expense of
barbed wire restraints
and yet
the song continues…
it skips along
and I can say nothing
but
Ohhhh Lord
and smile
remembering
