Pardon my lazy eyes
my sleeping mind

down below
on the corner
In the bar
I had in mind something epic
a complete story

beautiful
tho lazily distracted to the mirror in front of me
my reflection and a woman behind me in a low cut pink shirt
bending over the table
in the darkness

writing something epic
in my head

distracted fingers
skillfully delicately swiftly
moving over the smooth surface of...

His phone.
Playing a videogame
pondering the passage of time
how he wasted it
and the money
sum... 9 years ago

what he would do
if to do
it all over again

9 years younger and money in hand
much richer
he would change it all
even if he could only go back two years
to the first fall

"I'd kiss her"
And oh, how he's changed

but where for now
and where to begin

tomorrow beckons a new temptress
but will he be tempted?

Will there be a spark of love
will there be anything at all?

A patchwork played out heart
Lust or Love

"Keep your eye on the ball."

Quite a rolling piece of work here, martiniat8, as you quite interestingly take the talk and walked the walk of that epic. Gotta love it!
