The light At the end Of the dock Casts a pale glow Over frozen water There is A wooden boat Missing its oars Up on the bank Under a cover Of snow Occasionally One will see A line of deer Slowly Making its way Among the distant trees They pass in silence Much like life After a number of years With nothing left to say . |
