.

Tonight I’ve become a liar
And now it’s my real name
I die under friendly fire
I lose your one-sided game

It’s clever of you, my dear
Such wisdom I never met
You want me to be your mirror
And wear a box on your head

I felt, it was so exciting
To hear you can see me through
But you seem to be long-sighted
I guess you don’t know the truth

You catch all the things behind me
So clear, every blade of grass
My thoughts - what a marvel hides them
Perhaps I was made of glass

So long I believe your feeling
And fancy - you know me best
Tonight you don’t wanna hear me
And God came to be my guest

I called him to ask for patience
He doesn't like playing dice
So I deal the cards…
Relations keep misty before my eyes

But I put my eights on sevens
And try to assemble the whole
Let God judge me there in heaven
At least He can see my soul

Fantastic poetic composition, dear Galina. Deep pondering here, even though painful it might be.

Deep and cutting words, but you do have the truth of it.  God sees your soul.  We can see glimpses of its beauty in your writing, but only God knows the true extent.  I feel your pain.

Galina, I think I understand all you are saying.  You are very wise and though the truth hurts, it is best to know it, accept it  and face it – not just ourselves, but everyone else as well, but not everyone can see it or wants to see it or believes it even when it is right in front of them.  Your relationship with God is far more important than your relationship with anyone and God brings more solace than anyone else can.  If people can’t see you for who you really are, then they don’t know you properly.  It is best to choose your partner and your friends from those who really know you.  I know that some of what I said above wasn’t in your poem, but it flowed on in my thoughts as a result of what you said in your poem.

I am sorry you are hurting, but your healing starts from a core position of the truth.

Thank you, James, for reading and replying!

Thank you, Owl!
I'm glad to see you here
You're right, truth is the main thing as well as love, and since I consider God to be my love inside, my own conscience, I think that it's the most important guiding line - to live according to that source of truth. People may blame, people may be wrong, they know not everything, and you may be mistaken too, but you know what you know and what you meant. Your conscience is not easy to deceive, because it knows you inside out indeed, and it's your only judge.

I grew tired of having to explain myself to people that didn't really matter anyhow.
Only God knows your heart and soul and that's good enough for me
Peace to you.....
