Within the morning
crickets sing their last ballet
for a dying star

The sun peeks through blinds
rays of golden light hit me
I lay there and groan

the alarm goes off
my body still on sleep mode
my dream said take care

Morning became noon
black ants carry their fallen
as the wind rushed out

something about that golden light which is magical, it can invigorate you or it can leave you in the groaning state as you so put it, I enjoyed this

Poetically ghetto- yep the sun was invigorating, yet I didn't want it, just wanted to sleep. Thanks for the comment, delighted that you enjoyed it.
