Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2013-08-06 07:25 AM

From her heart
words did flow
enchanting

Released her
essence ether
like a lamp
rubbed genie

She cast
her web
of  poems
like a net
upon the
big blue sea

Stranger things
had happened
but not as yet
to her
until she fell
victim of
her own curiosity

Poetic passions
conjured and bared
her goddess
like a butterfly
from its chrysalis

And that was
just as he
said it would be
when she had
lost her mind
decades ago

A man of God
comforted her
in her despair
He smiled
in anticipation
and confidence
that indeed
this awakening day
would arrive
for me

In her Goddess
she found
at last
her bliss
and went
a different
kind of crazy

Her adrenaline pumping
dumping endorphins
she took flight
inside her awakening
Ink flowing profusely

Finding her calling
eclipsed everything else
She had found her world
and with it herself

And the others...
she found them too
Poetic hearts and minds
with voices true
Spilling  visions
she could see

They licked
at lonely wounds
of  regret
and poured
their hearts out
in blue

At first
she read them all
then just a few
now only one or two

Then he found her
He smote her with
his smitten
Drawn like magnets
they clicked

One of your very best, Lori. What a journey you took us on. The sun is shining in your world. Even your smile you have on PiP is smiling brighter.
