Can you feel me
when you sleep?
Where you are
do you dream
in warm caresses
and lips engulfing?
Do you sigh inside
your sensual slumber
at the dream of ecstasy?
Can you feel me
when I sleep
and I dream
of where you are?
Can you feel
my warm caresses
and fevered kisses
upon your skin?
Do you wake
with an ache
in empty arms?
And in that moment
twixt sleep and awake
do you wonder
where I went?
Before you remember
where you are?
Or do you glimpse me
going home?
