"Brave the storms"

I say

I pray

and watch for flinch

a twitch

a glimpse

of an eyelid
jumping mad

"Brave the Storm"

and we'll be glad

to welcome you to family--

but first

you brave the storm.

Hah! Interesting. It brings to mind the old saying, "Bite the bullet."

Sound like our families have a lot in common, Karen.  Though braving the storm in my family's case lies somewhere akin to proving yourself to be absolutely crazy as they are.  As always, got the tumblers in my head churning.

Lori--thanks so much for giving me your time to read.

and oh Michael, as always, you're right on target about that. I'm pretty sure that much of my personal problems began when this little baby of the family felt she had something to prove. I hope and pray you're doing well my brothah.

Ah, yes. Family drama. One certainly must be able to weather the storm alright. Just try not to be swept overboard.
