I find I'm emotionally
sealing myself off in a landscape
fraught with
never-ending searching
almost catching
words
but when I grasp my hands for them
they elusively give me the finger
looking for words
my salvation these days are words
which have dried up

I look over here
in vain
seeking that which eludes me
oh God!
I couldn't be more disappointed
words
trapped inside a co-conspiracy, perhaps
for they elude me
with an almost evil smirk
as I blindly grasp for what makes me happy

words

will this Catch-22 never end?

Between that rock and that hard place could also be freedom and beauty. Thanks, Lori, appreciate it.

Finding the right words can be like herding cats... all but impossible until they decide to cooperate. Good luck in your quest!

That funny about the cats, suthern, and you are right too. Appreciate the fact that you are here in my place.
