an unfulfilled life does not come cheap look behind you at the memories you keep they keep you quasi-fulfilled never cast your eyes into the sun as it crashes and burns to embers into the sea your soul (if you have one) will follow that sinking, fading sun better stay within memories' parameters in your well-constructed cell lift your voice to your hazy shadows sterile is your world, albeit peace and quiet swing creaks like someone's in it the same swing you removed three months ago ©October 21, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ Jokes about German sausages are the wurst~*~ |

I know a thing or two about well constructed cells... It's strange how we can almost feel violated when things aren't as precisely misrable as we left them in our self-built prisons... and be positively pent on restoring the comfortable discord. You've stated so many truths in this one that I can't get close to touching on them all... but I'm sure you know I relate well to this one. Spot on! Michael |
