      Infinite (Zen) Reflections

When night falls in deep shadows,
let  all cares vanishing with
the moonlit evening wind,
as multitudinous memories
dance the dreamscape of
   the mind,
how 'real' is space and time?
Perhaps there is only a
universal, immortal consciousness
in infinitely nested connections ...
of which we are an integral part
  and all is truly one.

Nicely penned, Bruce.  It would be great to "be one" in all the good values but I think I'd still like to be "me" especially when I think of the process that has gone into making me be the "me" that I am today.  Who knows really?

I think there is a great deal of wisdom here as well as beauty, Bruce.

Liked your play with Zen this a.m., Bruce. You are close to the truth I have a feeling. e are all connected i believe, our only problem is the desire to hurt our fellow man.

Even serious 'scientific evidence' has been emerging that our individual (internal) 'consciousness'
is not totally independent of (separate from) some supposed 'external reality,' and that human
consciousness can 'influence' our surroundings. There may well be a universal Akashic (or Akasian)
'field' of consciousness (from the Sanskrit word) of which we each are an integral part.
