Winters curved branches are exposed and bare,
as she wiggles into her long white gown.
A beauty to behold with moonlight hair,
she poses in her celestial crown.

Crystal clear jewels softly sparkle
within moonlights misty blue sheen.
Mother nature an artist, immortal,
sequined stars upon the Snow Queen.

Soon her white gown will slip away,
like the glass slipper of Cinderella.
Her bare limbs will gracefully sway,
as songbird in the winds sing cappella.

April rain will cry tears of emerald green,
Grieving the death of Winter the Snow Queen.

Life is a great big canvas-Throw all the paint on it you can.

lovely writing~~  I  think the nicest part of Winter is the snow.  I think that is why I prefer to live here where we can have just enough to enjoy it.

Happy New Year V,
