Winter blew past
last night
casting dispersions
in white

I guess that's what winters are for.

If winter "blew" there am I allowed to say it sucked here?  All we got was incessant cold rain all day long.  I really miss the snow.

Let it snow,
Let it snow,
Let it snow.....

See there, I can sing!
Enjoyed your "Winter"

Lovely, Lori.  Snow is just a dream for me painted by you and others from cooler climes.

Winter here this year does
"cast(ing)its dispersions in white"

But then it rains on that parade,
like yesterday..
with a low of 32 last night.

And yet your poem rings true for most years.

You said a lot in few words..thank you
