Blue Moon illuminating the sky, I don’t know why
I feel so weirdly blue while looking at you.

By playing hide and seek with clouds and trees
you charm the night giving birth to sapphire dreams
which dance in the light washing over your desolation
concealed by your smile, everlasting and sweet.

Blue Moon illuminating the sky, I don’t know why
you keep me under the spell of your silver strings
while you perform divine musical improvisations
creating ripples of delight upon my soul deep within.

Milliards of eyes gaze at you in adoration
you represent a marvellous part of Nature
and all those who feel touched by your beauty
are filled with sacred awe and inspiration.

Blue Moon illuminating the sky, I don’t know why
I feel so weirdly blue while looking at you,
but I know the way to fulfil my desires and needs
as I gratefully gather your sapphire dreams.

"Milliards of eyes gaze"

Gotta love it, and I do whenever I see something I've not seen before. You have given the Blue Moon a most fitting rendition and wondrous appeal that reaches out and touches me and I'm sure those other who will read it. Very good, Margherita.

Thank you, dear Jerry, for your loving comment. You have uttered the right word: appeal, indeed! The moon is a magical kind of "meeting point" for many lovers and friends who project their thoughts in the moon's direction ... where they collide and mingle.

Dear Karen, you too have been inspired to write a most beautiful poem about the Blue Moon and I am happy that you loved this one too. Thank you!

I'm not surprised that you were so inspired by our beautiful, blue Pisces moon, Margherita.

Dear Ida, oh yes, the moon has its unique ways to stir our romantic heartstrings. Thank you so much for being here!

Thank you, dear Michael, for your kind appreciation! With our sensitivity towards Nature, we experience closeness and oneness with our divine Creator, that's the magic.

Dear Ebonygirl, thank you so much for your loving kindness. Sapphire holds magic that permeates us ... I love the color too.

Love and a beautiful Sunday to all.
