he made it through puberty grew into someone else he's done his time sans bars and with 'em three wives divorced two buried all three he has come to the end not afraid of dying not exactly looking forward to it either but not running from it eh, just mumbling, walking along hard to break old habits with cane in hand he walks the Thibodaux streets mutt sniffing and stopping by his side getting in his timed half-hour measured walk ©August 9, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
