Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Thinking the unthinkable
In just another day in paradise
Where the sun always shines
except when it’s raining
and hope springs eternal
except in the dark of night
and life is but a dream
except for when it hurts
and all the words won’t
fit back together again
as time takes its toll
on this crazy beach
with washed up issues

Haha! Love the title. You covered it all within these lines. Good writing.

Yup, times taking its toll is about the only thing you can count on in a world full of cliche, where exception, more often than not, becomes rule.  I certainly can relate.

Yes, you got that right, dear Lori. Very well expressed. The challenges will never stop to knock at our doors.

Lori: ah the ebb and flow (or shall I say flotsom and jetsom?) ends in washed up refuse..but lessons are learned and wisdom is gathered along the way (or shall I say shoreline?)

Enjoyed,
