From point A to B, or a triangular C
circles, squares, parallelogram
tangents to drop off the edge of earth
into the unknowns of universe

From any point in time to eternity
at right angles or refractions
curving light into waves, prisms of
color, fractal energies split ameobic
unmolding the play dough masses

From unknown quotients, hollograms
appear, flickered dreams claim
identity, and time fades into black holes
along with unknown languages
whose  heiroglyphic thoughts await
formation upon some future knowledge

How shall I fathom anymore than simple
rhythms of the pump whose sanguine
desire is touch, fingertip to fingertip
a poem breathing without words upon
lips, whose kiss lives only in your eyes
and I am pulsar born by your design?

What a grouping of world class words, Klassy Lassy! And all to ask the common question we all have from time to time. I love you. Can I?

You coulda bowled me over with a feather with that response, Jerry. Such a sweet one!     Thanks for reading this.  It's really a wonderful thing to see the love in your life right now.  I wish the world had the same wisdom to live.

Loved the last stanza ... everything above it was just too much for my 'math addled' brain though...

From Geometry to Physics to life, fine combination of subjects and words. Fine writing.

Very very clever writing and it holds the reader right to the page.

Ms. E.  my favorite, too. How rarely our fingers are still, and they speak volumes.  Thank you for the sweet reply.

Prasad, I am glad you stopped to read, and appreciate your eye to my offering.

Eric, you made my morning with your protest and broken protractor.   I needed the chuckle!  I've broken a few of them myself, and a chain of words is sometimes like the necklace you can't get unknotted, so you just stick it back in the jewelry box. I'm

Ida, it's good to "see" you!   Thank you, too, for your kind words.

Lassy, you have all the right angles and may your compass point in my direction any time. I would willingly fall into your trapezoid! You are without parallel!

Now, having gotten that silliness out of my system, let me just say the the poem is brilliant....no surprise. You do what you do so very well and you always impress me as a person as well as a poet.

Michael,

I know I have a lot to learn about poetry, but, it's been a door open to friends that I cherish and would be very lucky to ever meet.  You are a wordsmith extraordinaire, as well as a friend, and your comment means a lot.
