This is so weird, Karen, I just finished writing Chapter 37 of my novel, The Late Great God, and it had as its subject spirits.

Anyway, just thought I would share that with you. I loved this poem, a little different than your usual offering, but the change was gratifying.

LOL...seems like we are on the same wave length...this poem type is called rictameter...I was just playing with words and decided to try it...I am not sure if I got it right or not but it fit my mood...thanks for commenting...*BIG HUGS*

You have a way of taking the reader with you, Karen, in this out-of-body journey. I especially like the warm feeling in the drift, like a summer's night that brushes the senses and all feels right under the stars.

Reminds me of laying on my back in my youth staring up into the star-filled sky and watching the lighting bugs, fire flies, go by...her beside me, us, holding hands...
