Oft' we dream of things of which
Somehow we wish could come true
We hope and pray
But at the end of day
We find our dreams haven’t a clue,

Yet if we were the lucky ones
If just wishing could make it be
Though fate has a way
Of allowing minds to play
Dreams and reality rarely agree,

Still dreams are often more than
Fleeting mists in the night so it seems
I know this is true
Because I have you
For all I have to do is dream,

I know this is true
Because I love you
And all I have to do is dream.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

This reminds me a bit of one of my favorite songs - "all I have to do is dream" by the Everly Brothers. Both their song and your poem are beautiful, romantic and softly memorable! *S*
