Nobody cares
Everyone should know
Everyone should care

Wouldn't go so far as to say "nobody", my friend . . . many do (you obviously do), and the ones that don't (especially "don't care") are trying to give our country away...

I do, and, I do.

Didn't meant to insult you, J, it had just been all day and not one peep from anyone abut that bloody day, and the turning of the
World War II, at least on that front. Thought I'd at least bring it up . . . Thanks for chiming in.

Jerry
Some people know and still don't care.
This stimulates searching thoughts and that's good writing.

I thought about my dad a lot that day... and attended a memorial for someone whose tremendous respect and support for our military led his family to request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the USO. Many care... some quietly.

I know they do, suthern, but what chaff my ass is that they don't give our military any respect in the school system and on into the so-called towers of academic learning in this nation.

School's out they have forgotten everything
The civil rights movement is ancient history to them now. D-Day they can't even begin to relate to that or the depression or the economy of the fifties.
It is sad.

You are sadly, sadly right, Lori. It is the worst of possible situation for America. We are in trouble.
