You could close your eyes,
think of how it could have been
and why somebody dies,
and you feel like you just can't win.

Then the years they fly by,
and your sitting rememberin'
that even all those tears you cry
and all those lessons you were learnin'
were how to never give up on the sky.

You could close your eyes
think of all the times you said goodbye
all the days that you didn't reach for the skies
remember when she told you, all you gotta do is try.

then the years they fly by,
and your sitting rememberin'
all the days you let pass by,
if only you were learnin'
all these answers you were given to that question why?

In loving memory, you've been gone 10 years but never a moment forgotten. Thank you for touching my life. Thank you for being a part of my life. God Bless Miss.Chadwick

This poem  brought tears to my eyes.
One never forgets the special people that shared their life with us. Well done,

Wow Kellie! May 18 I took out the scrapbook I made from the week we were at Bothell High. Nancy and I read the poem you wrote then and said we need to reconnect with you. And here you are. Nicely done and how excellent to see you are still writing. Hoping you'll email me (lnchadwick@msn.com).

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
