                 Lines at Twilight

The last vestiges of light
gleam from the teeth of evening
and dance upon half-hidden pages
dimming now to the distant strains
of Mr. Eliot’s ‘Rhapsody on a Windy Night’
as the last sunbeams, spinning in corners
conjure dream-images in the lonely mind,
(pausing only to tease the hosts of shadows
marshaled for this occasion by the night)
you return once more … in fantasy …
changed a bit perhaps
by the prisms of distance and memory.
Yet, for that fleeting moment
you seem so very near …
and I remember how I loved you.

oh boy this is divine, I love this!

Love is the life of the soul...
It is the harmony of the universe

ah yes, memory may alter somewhat our recollections but it doesn't alter our feelings.

Enjoyed the remembrence of things past,

Al
