the bright light unlit
the flames dance
as we had,
diminished
unfinished

i've tasted her words
bitter on my tongue
i've twisted her words
all meaning undone

so dismal yet delightful
thrilling and frightful
the expressions insightful
puts me at ease

the whispered thoughts
searched for, implored
the voice so familiar strings on
chord upon chord

flame unto flame
inviting and pure
what can she mean,
she admits shes unsure

your life's a dresser drawer, and its easy to forget all the things you once thought worth keeping.
