Plucking moonbeams from the sky,
I bent them into origami flowers.
Placing each on the hotel floor
in a soft lit path from where you showered
to where we would both eventually sleep.

The soft glow of the moon lit your hips,
highlighted the clefts of muscle near your knees.
It made our forty dollar room priceless,
the way it shone on your face in the dark.

I plucked moonbeams from the sky,
making origami flowers.
Placing one behind your ear
I kissed you in the soft dark.

I'm suprised that this hasn't received any replies......You've made love in a mere hotel room so beautiful and ethereal.   This poem is so lovely and romantic.

Wonderful writing Paul. You drew me into your emotions in that small hotel room.

This is probably the most romantic poem I've read in a long time.
Excellent.

Thanks Clamchowder. Is this going to become a contest? I like winning...

Margopargo... You're too kind to me. Always. But this is why I love you.

Vandana... I'm glad!

Clamchowda... You'll get used to it. It suits you.

I guess you have earned a new fan today even if I don`t agree that love is the binding ingredient in peanut butter!  Nice poem though.
