friend :

                        thanks for giving me a chance

howard :

                        hey, it's Thanksgiving

                        i remember back in the day when i was involved in a forbidden romance

friend :

                        what happened?

howard :

                       we resolved the forbidden romance

friend :

                       and ....

howard :

                       well, it was sort of like your circumstance

friend :

                       you mean it revolved around taking her to France?

howard :

                       not quite that involved

                                           [shrugging]

                       still it was a break from my usual dance

                       ah .….

                       i remember it so well

                       when she grabbed my hand and taught me how to break dance

                       the way she used to spin on her head …..

friend :

                       sounds like you miss her

howard :

                       i do

                       i wish life was easy to solve

                       i think fate just stuck me with an interpretive dance

                       she couldn’t understand

                                                 [setting down his coffee cup]
