Here I find myself yet again
Holding onto nothing
Losing my breath, lack of oxygen
Hearing on the wind, nothing

Your silence cruel and usual
I suffer the slings and arrows
Living our lives in dual
Instead of as one, I suppose

It may be improper to speak
These thoughts out loud
But I need to implore, beseech
Before I lay under shroud

So in acquiescence I find
A solace somehow it can bring
I fill your silence with my mind
As ever, to heal the nothing

very painful

silence can be golden but indeed it can be cruel

Hey, I'm new to the forum, but I've already come across a few of your pieces. They're all excellent, but I liked this one in particular. Filling silence with mind. You really made nothingness into something real and moving
