The abstract sea,
Green as a field,
Sparkle in its extremity
Desires of the poet.

Such a beautiful haiku, yann; it lifts my heart, as if I were standing there on the shore, taking in the shimmering waves of that emerald sea!

Wonderful, dear Yann. You have perceived it indeed as the field of infinite possibilities, a desire to explore the vastness of what is. Your poetic mind captured the beauty.

Love,

Yo Yann,

This is a nice little poem.  However, it is not a 5-7-5 classical haiku.

I would have to agree.  It is a spendid poem but it doesn`t follow the 5 - 7 - 5 pattern.

Although, this short poem is not a 5-7-5 haiku, it is absolutely lovely!

Intellectually I know that Canada is no better than any other country. Emotionally I KNOW that Canada is the best country in the world!

Maybe this is not a true Haiku, yann but it's very pretty poem.
