:  Assignment by our very own Balladeer - to play go the Workshop, read his instructions and post on your contribution on the thread with the assignment.  It's easy and fun - and that is my Poetry Workshop plug for the day! :

Marilyn, u r 1 hot chick
Of all the girls u are my pick
It is nice 4 us to twitter
U will see I’m not a quitter

It is true u’ve stolen my heart
I couldn’t stand 4 us to part
Marilyn, u r on my mind
U stand out like a garage sale find

U r better than my hound dog
I luv u more than hunting frogs
I need 4 u to be my girl
Please, let loose and give us a twirl

Marilyn, I am on my knees
And begging u not 2 play and tease
If u r mine send me a tweet
4 u are really very sweet

xoxoxo
Harry

Oh, dear Alison, this is absolutely cute.

You make me wonder about the assignment ... going to peek in there at the workshop.

"... a find in a garage sale " lol! What a thought related to preciousness.

Love and hugs.

Alison, you are really good at this for not using text or twitter.   I can't even type as fast as certain members of my family can text!  And they sit side by side and text each other!

You love poem is so cute, but for some reason it set a handful of oldies but goodies off in my head...which I am going to be hearing all afternoon:  Rockin' Robin", "I don't Like Spiders and Snakes...", "You Ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog!", "Every Which Way but Loose" and "Ain't She Sweet?".   If I'm going to be humming them, I think I should have some company.       You opened up Pandora's box.

I love you guys.  Thank you for having a sense of humor -- and my picture?  Sheese.  I took it down to put a new one and couldn't get the new one sized right.  I gave up.

Love,
A
