Forever In Your Heart

0 posted 2010-02-09 06:03 AM

If I were but a butterfly,
quietly landing upon your sill,
would you sleep in deepest sleep,
and not notice me still?,

Softly as you breathe the cool night air,
I would gently float as if a vaporous cloud,
landing upon your lofty bed of dark brown hair,
your head to be covered in a white, misty shroud.

Vivid dreams of times past you deeply dream,
as they slowly escape your peaceful head,
flowing softly through your mind stream,
into that sacred realm where angels tread,

All through the night, I am by your side,
sharing my love continously as if invisible,
my love for you is deep as it is wide,
nothing can compare, imeasurable.

When the golden sun begins to peek through,
my time draws near for me to fly,
for it breaks my heart to leave you,
I spread my wings into the air, and cry.

And I wonder if you ever noticed me ?

This is a new style for you.

I like it a great deal.

The first two stanzas were incredibly strong.

Fall in love early, fall in love often.

Powdery-soft sentiments
(and could make a base for a nice sonnet).

I like it. Good job, ARH.
