The flags of time waved across the historical pages with text
reading mans cyclical tendencies of war, money, women and sex.
Who rose by some divine force of mania, to civilizations of intrigue
filling the pages with wars and conquests and glories that end in fatigue
rising to new chapters written by free thinkers to question the old league
to champion the new age of science and technology to rewrite a state of human arrogance,
to dare pry into the realm of God.

This is right up my ally, Mike. My last two poems have been God-influenced in someway. That, plus the next noel after I finish with the one I am writing will be able a man's search for truth from God.

You poetry invariably gives me something to mull and think over.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own
