Eros softly whispers her name
beckons her to come fourth
  "Love freely and procreate"
*Heed not his words*
Thanatos did say
*For I am the truth*
*After the day*
*All life must revert*
*to the inanimate state*

"Do not be blinded"
  "By his weary ruse"
   "Now is not your time"
    "Do not be fooled"

and yet she declined
to follow Eros still.

Eros and Thanatos
both offered their hands
one promised Utopia
the other - barren land.
As to which offer
she did receive
she was ambivalent
and a bit naive
Life is too short
So, Eros did not wait
it was decided for her
Thanatos now controls her fate.

*Eh, I might revise later.*

Hhaha!! I'll be looking for the revision, but I have to say, I like this pretty damn good. Eros was a bit hasty, however. Still, that is how things work in the world of mystical beings. I liked it. Very much.

Cpat. Thanx. I agree, in the game of "Life" if we aren't fast enough - we'll miss out turn.

Thanx Dark, perhaps pause mode is fine for this piece.

Mystical, decision making leads to our destiny. Sometimes though, it finds us. Fine writing.
