Been a while since I have been here let alone wrote anything.  But wrote my first song in years back in June and figured I would share.  Hope everyone likes it.

Turn Your Radio On

By: Jesse C. Jaymz

Another day has come and gone
Another roads been traveled on
All these highway exits look the same
I'm so lonely, and it aint right
That I'm not there, to hold you tight
But baby I'm not really all that far away

Just turn it on, and close your eyes
Let your mind go and fantasize
Me next to you, singing every song
I'll be back home, before to long
Every song a memory
Of the love between you and me
So baby close your eyes and sing along
And I'll be with you, Just turn your radio on

I'm there in every sad song
To hold you while you cry
I'm there in every love song
To look deep in your eyes
We're never really that far apart
As The radio plays the songs in our hearts
And baby, this one goes out to you

Just turn it on, and close your eyes
Let your mind go and fantasize
Me next to you, singing every song
I'll be back home, before to long
Every song a memory
Of the love between you and me
So baby close your eyes and sing along
And I'll be with you, Just turn your radio on

I miss your kisses, your loving touch
Sometimes life on the road, Can be to much
But don't worry, I'll Be back home soon.

Just turn it on, and close your eyes
Let your mind go and fantasize
Me next to you, singing every song
I'll be back home, before to long
Every song a memory
Of the love between you and me
So baby close your eyes and sing along
And I'll be with you, Just turn your radio on...

Thank you katahdin.  Glad you can hear the music to it.  That's is a true feat when you can hear the music just from reading the lyrics.  Thank you.

Works for me... nice tune... worked in radio for 15 years, so I know a thing or two about lyrics. Peace.

Thank you Amaryllis and Sunkissed.  I just downloaded a recording program about a week ago and still playing with it.  If I can get it to work right I might have to record this one and of course offer it to ones who would like it.  Thank you for replying!!
