Do you remember the leaves of our meeting? The newspaper add you ran…? I answered and… You noticed my white gloves and that hunger for travel "Turn around" you said… blushing, but knowing you said that to everyone… Years later... A fragrance of familiar I had forgotten… we met again… I thought You were one of those moments that sembled A pale colored moon lit night Like a forest breathing thoroughly cautious quiet Just you n me In a right foot gently raised brow Fire, your flush of after dinner cordials I had forgotten all those birds in the trees We giggled in our travels of ocean seas A network of great little details Surmising a long road of prosperity An investment of sorts In possession of this light of experience Oh, but the bridge was way to far… come fall We were like ill-governed youths Eyes dancing nervously in wrong colored shoes However, it was real to me Now…. Time has been a good long friend And you are pleasantly pleased with yourself You had so many roses... and I I'd like to believe I've grown [This message has been edited by LeeJ (07-27-2010 02:34 PM).] |
