Fair Weather Days
by Linda L. Dowd

As I recall fair weather days
~ when under elm trees we would laze,
my heart is squeezed by views of past.
It saddens me they did not last.

I miss the years of wedded bliss
when we would laugh ~ love, play, and kiss.
A tear slips down my face of blue
as I recall those times with you.

Yo dear Linda,

This is a sad story, but a good, and common one.

Love Bobby

Linda,

This is sweetly sad.  It's beautiful - and I am happy you had that love.  There are so many different degrees of love - and so many who love you.

oh my! This is heart-tendering. (You inspire me to make new words)

But still, smile because you had those days my friend.

Oh, such a tender heart song, dear Angelo Terrestre! Tunes of the past sometimes enter our mind and soul, but then they somehow place us under new trees with a fresh love to share. I bet your heart knows no prolonged sadness, because it is made to love ... in the Now.

Wonderfully melodious. Dreamy picture too.

Love and hugs.
