For some,
love
has boundaries
and limits
that can only go
so far.

Say a, continent perhaps.

Step one inch over that line though
sorry, you’re out of bounds,
I mean, love can only reach
so far, right?

Funny,
I always thought
love
was unlimited
and all inclusive,
omnipresent
and universal.

Friction.

It is everywhere
isn’t it?

In fact, it is on the very land
you sit upon right now
reading this.

Well,
if you won’t
come
to my mountain
then I’ll just have to bring
the mountains
to you.

If you need
to be on the same
land mass
as I
then so be it,
I’ll be there.

It may take awhile though
but hang on
I’m on my way.

There will come the day
when my continent
slams back into yours again
both of them grinding
against each other
creating a bulging mountain range
high into the atmosphere
its base in the wetness
of your tides
where your sea floor spreads
its oceanic trench
for me
sweet and briny
pulling my tectonic plate
with such gravity and suction
deep,
deep,
deep,
into your core,
as my volcano erupts
and your earth
quakes
both of us
spewing forth together
red hot liquid land,
of molten love.

Until then
blow softly
against the wind,
somehow
your breath will reach me
gentle.

As your whispers
rub against my bloom
and release the seeds
of my dandelion
to fly,
to the garden
of you.

Friction is
wonder,
with land
and with sky.

The traction of words
once started desire
that laid on your loins
and turned into fire.

Our full moon
has risen,
each night
has less glow.

Sometimes even smiles
in loneness,
must go.

"Funny,
I always thought
love
was unlimited
and all inclusive,
omnipresent
and universal."

Funny, I always thought so too.  Enjoyed!
