In Spain it's "asno de caballos"
a name that's kind of hard to swallow.
The French will say "cul de chevaux"
the Czechs say "kone zadec" though.
The Dutch pronounce it "paarden kont"
it's all the same despite the font.
In German "Pfede Esel's" said,
Swahili, "farisi punda" instead.
the Irish say "capall asal"
There're some I can't translate at all.
Italians say "cavalli culo"
I bet there're even some that you know.
It's "kone marape" in Bulgarian,
I'm not sure what in Rastafarian.
Such names describe their teeming masses
these "equine rear-ends" are what passes
for our leaders, sad to say
or to put it one more way...
Performance of ones' civic duty
oft' results in horse patootie!

As always, much more elegant than my thoughts.

I love ya, Doc. Even more than I love Dr. House, Dr. Oz and Dr. Doolittle.

serenity,
Thank you dear lady. Just trying to further my education, you never know when being able
to identify something/ someone in 10 different languages might come in handy, lol. Oh, and I've got a confession to make,
I still pop in from time to time to see what you're up to poetically.

Ida,
Thank you, I wasn't really sure if this one wasn't pushing the limits of acceptability in a "g" forum or not, but apparently because it was educational it was allowed, lol.

Clever and humorous---and I appreciate the rhyming in many languages.
