Eyes scrunched and focused
I know your excited
No longer hopeless

Please don't, miss, this
The magic is fading

I need you to notice
Heavy chested and floating
Your breath is sweet now
Been so since our first kiss

You won't miss me
The magic is gone

I'm just a memory
A fog slowly lifting
Dark days and black nights
So I light my candle
To start my journey

I've never forgotten about you
But the magic is back
