all the things that made you smile
the things that gave you chills
flushed cheeks and caught your breath
the things that protected you
from everyone else and yourself
that made your laughter wild
and beautiful
that made your eyes swim in tears
that left you by yourself
lost and alone
all the things that haunt you
like the unoccupied space left on your bed

I am all these things
I'm sorry

A well-written, melancholy poem about a work in progress, I am sure. A strong horse pulls the whole cart.

This is so expressive, I really enjoyed it, especially the last 2 lines. That says it all.
