cathaholic country communion
saint oaks and the saintly maples
hallowed be thy hollowed names

answering the evil of the weevil
like wind chimes of willow cathedrals
the dust of rusting wheels worship there

metalic smithereens, dirty jeans kind
wearing handprint sootery tattoo'd prayers
footprints with fingers lingering behind

perhaps lovers or mothers would recognize
but to strangers they are only signs
without direction to provide reflection

for a deer with headlight glancing eyes
