Let the world
Go to Hell for an hour

Let talk and thought of talk
Stand outside in the failing light

All that matters to our hope of flight
Is this lambent moment of desire

Shadows flicker on pictured walls
Perhaps a dreaming ghost or two
Once afire as we are now
Haunts this mist in humid air

Nothing consoles us in our end
Save the joy of pleasures
Remembering

The moon ascends
As the sun goes down
In a not so distance
The night bird calls

This is weird you say
As you shed your clothes
Casting them on the floor
